Give the gift of a Christian book to children of prisoners this Christmas.

‘Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.’ (Luke 2:11)

This Christmas, as we celebrate the birth of Jesus, we think of children whose parents are in prison separated from them at this special time of year.
Give the gift of a Christian book to children of prisoners this Christmas.

200,000 children in England and Wales are affected by parental imprisonment every year. You have the opportunity to bring joy to some of those families this Christmas.

Join us in helping parents who are in prison send the gift of a Christian book to their children.

We are delighted to be partnering with Prison Fellowship’s Angel Tree programme, to send a beautifully wrapped book with a note from a parent directly to their children. Parents can choose a CWR children’s book to send with a message to their child, reminding them that they are loved and missed.

‘My daughter was over the moon, and so proud of her daddy for remembering her. Thank you so very much! You’re a Godsend.’
– A dad in prison.

Studies show that prisoners are less likely to reoffend if they have a relationship with their family. Contact with families is important in helping offenders transition back into society. We want to help families restore and build their relationships for a better future together.
