Working pattern: Part-time (20 hours) per week including evenings and weekends
Location: Waverley Abbey House, Farnham, Surrey
Salary range:  Up to £10.10 per hour dependent on experience
Closing date: Friday 11 October 2019
 
As part of the Catering Team at our Training and Conference centre in the countryside near Farnham, you will help us to deliver an excellent service for our guests. An increased level of bookings has created the need for additional members of the team.
                                                                                            
The Assistant Chef will follow planned menus, creating meals to a high standard and within budget and lead a shift without supervision ensuring correct methods of preparation, production and presentation of all food, including catering for special diets.
 
To be successful in this role, we require you to have plenty of relevant experience, be aware of the importance of customer service, and able to put your enthusiasm into practice with efficiency and attention to detail. You should also be highly organised and an outstanding team player.
 
We operate on a shift system so you will need to be fully flexible with regard to working days/times which will vary from week to week, and able to work evenings and weekends.
 
We also have a vacancy for a part-time Catering Assistant, so there is the possibility of combining the 2 roles into one full-time job.
 
We offer first-class working conditions including Pension and Life Assurance, in magnificent surroundings. We are not well served by Public Transport so you would need your own transport to get here.
