Led by Andy Peck
Small groups can be great vehicles for the furthering of God’s purposes in a church, where real friendships are formed and great fellowship can happen on a more personal level. But small groups are frequently underutilised and undervalued, with members often going through the motions.
So, what makes for an effective small group? This seminar will give you lots of practical insights and ideas for leading small groups. The course will explore how you can assess the potential of your small group – and then set goals and keep on course, how to understand group dynamics and the stages that a small group goes through, and the pastoral care of the members of your group.
This course is suitable for those who are first-time small group leaders, as well as those who are more experienced.
9.30am - 4pm (arrival and refreshments 9.30-10am).
