Led by Rachel Wright
For so many reasons we find ourselves experiencing grief or heartache. Maybe it’s a relationship breakdown, redundancy, death of a loved one, the challenges of parenting or the collapse of a dream. It might simply be that life is not how we thought it would be. Whatever the cause, the potential sense of isolation, loss and confusion is universal.
But what if, amidst everything life has to offer, you want to find God?
Inspired by the stories of others, explore new ways to find God in the unexpected places. You will hear the raw and uplifting story of parenting a child with complex disabilities and life-limiting epilepsy. We will also look at characters from Scripture who endured hard times, and find hope within our circumstances as we explore the promises of God.
Then together we will explore our own stories in a kinaesthetic and relaxed way and dare to look at our own brokenness, the promises of God and find hope within our circumstances rather than beyond them.
Rachel is the author of The Skies I’m Under,
the raw, heart-breaking and uplifting memoir of her unexpected journey into parenting a child with complex disabilities. She is a speaker, nurse and blogger at Born at the Right Time
. Her passion is bringing a faith perspective into life’s brokenness. Along with her husband, Rachel has written a 40-day devotional for all those struggling with life’s challenges which is due for publication by CWR in Spring 2019.
