Download the A4 leaflet about this course (524k PDF).

Building the right foundation for your marriage is very important. What better way to prepare for the future than to take some time out together for one of our Marriage Preparation weekends.

As well as helping you explore key issues, the weekend offers you the opportunity to spend some valuable time together reflecting on this most important step you are about to take.

The course is highly practical and covers topics every couple should know about before marriage.

Many churches, friends and relatives give this weekend as a wedding gift to couples.
  • What is a Christian marriage?
  • Understanding love and loving, sex and sexuality
  • The basic cause of marriage breakdown and how to avoid it
  • How to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses and potential stress points of marriage
  • The three types of love required in marriage
  • Why conflict occurs and how to handle it
  • How to understand your own and your fiancee's temperament with help from the Myers Briggs™ Type Indicator
Designed for

Couples who are engaged or planning to be married. This course is suitable both for those who are being married for the first time and those who have been married before.
