A collection of inspirational thoughts, scriptures and poems
While resident in Winchester, Joy Hedges wrote a regular column in her local free newspaper, offering reflections on her exciting life and walk with God.
Just a Thought brings together fifty of these fascinating articles, interspersed with Joy's own poems.
Beginning with a personal revelation of Christ in her forties, Joy shares how God has abundantly touched her life in countless ways.
Her honest account of these communicates growing understanding of the ups and downs we all face and of God's grace to us in each situation.
'My greatest desire in compiling this book is to help people find God.'
Joy Hedges was born in Devon, England in 1942.
When aged fourteen, Joy decided to follow Christ.
She began writing thought-provoking poems at nineteen.
After losing her faith for two decades, she sensed the reality of Jesus during a carol service.
With experience of many church denominations, Joy wrote a fortnightly column entitled 'Just a Thought' in the Winchester and Eastleigh News EXTRA for more than three years.
In 2007, she dedicated the rest of her life to serving God.
