The weirdest-ever appeal from CWR!

Help children to find their own way into the Bible and into faith.

'Weird' is hardly a word we'd use to describe our mission at CWR but we did publish a collection of colourfully illustrated stories called 50 Weirdest Bible Stories.

Children can find it 'head-scratchingly difficult' to understand Scripture, but 50 Weirdest Bible Stories tackles this head-on with humour, ending each story on a 'cliffhanger' designed to get children to look it up in the Bible themselves to find out what happens next.

50 Weirdest Bible Stories quickly become a children's bestseller and it won 'Best Christian book for under 12s' at The Christian Resources Together conference in 2010.

And we've discovered that 50 Weirdest Bible Stories has an appeal to unchurched families too!

In partnership with the charity Speaking Volumes, we want to put copies of it into all 4,500 UK public libraries – which are used by 80% of 5- to 10-year-olds – to engage both Christian and non-Christian children in Bible stories in a way they can relate to, and to encourage them to look up Bible passages for themselves.

You can join with us to set this important initiative in motion. The costs are relatively modest: just £25 from you today could fund the production of 35 books, and just £36 could pay all the costs of packing and distributing 35 copies direct to libraries.

Please give as generously as you can.
