A Personal Word …

Inspiring women to go deeper with God is our mission statement: and this is indeed the underlying aim and purpose of our events and publications, especially those for women.  It is our joy and privilege to encourage women to grow in their Christian faith and enjoy a deeper relationship with the Lord.

Our 2007 programme provides a rich variety of opportunities for you to be inspired and refreshed in your spiritual life.  Our God, who makes all things new, has fresh and good experiences for each of us in the coming months. We can go forward confident of His abiding presence with us, whatever may be going on in our lives.

A new Weekend of Spiritual Refreshing was introduced last year and has proved a welcome addition to our programme. I am thrilled that so many are coming to appreciate the benefit of a tranquil retreat from life’s pressures combined with biblical teaching, worship and Christian fellowship with other women of all ages who share their spiritual yearnings. This update gives details of our weekends at the beginning of May and the end of June. If you are interested in participating, please bear in mind that bookings for residential places are taken up very quickly.   

Through our one-day events at Waverley, the regional seminars and our overseas ministry, we meet with thousands of women each year. We love these personal encounters and it is an added blessing to engage with more than 100,000 women around the world through the written word in our daily devotional, Inspiring Women Every Day. We pray regularly for all those women, near and far, whose lives are touched by the our ministry to women.

We have many activities planned for the first half of 2007. We pray these may impact your own thinking and walk with the Lord: and we look forward to meeting many of you in the coming months, at Waverley or elsewhere.
