| Nearly a million people around the world read the words of Selwyn Hughes every day. It is the phenomenal success of the Every Day with Jesus devotional that helped this dedicated man fulfil the call of God on his life.
As a young man, Selwyn worked in the dark coal pits of South Wales. Then God called him into full-time ministry. In obedience to that call, he became a theology student in Bristol before spending 18 happy years as a minister in England and Wales.
Selwyn started writing his daily reading notes on the back of postcards for a few members of his congregation. This quickly became a ministry that led to an organisation dedicated to preparing the Church for revival. The vision – to bring God’s Word into everyday life and relationships – is a principle that stands at the heart of our work.
