To know God well, we must know His Word, yet a recent survey found that 45% of churchgoers have not read the Bible in its entirety.
Many start well, but soon give up.
But with a clear system to follow and the encouragement of others, the chances of Christians finishing the whole Bible greatly increase.
The Every Day with Jesus Bible will motivate your congregation to read the entire Bible in a year by breaking it up into dated, daily portions – easily read in 15 minutes or less – and accompanied by inspiring devotional writing to help them see its relevance and apply its principles to their own lives.
Each day's reading contains a selection from the Old Testament, the New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs, so there is plenty of variety every day.
A suggested prayer and a section for further study will enrich their experience and inspire them to dig deeper into God’s Word.
Your church's own online forum
If you take up the church challenge we will give you your own online forum where your church members can share their views and thoughts on the Bible readings throughout the year.
3 EASY STEPS TO GET STARTED:
Step 1: Registration
Appoint a co-ordinator for the programme; then click the 'register' button below and complete the online form to register your church. We will then send your co-ordinator a pack of invitation cards for your church members, inviting them to be part of this church-wide challenge.
Step 2: Ordering your discounted Bibles
An order form for Every Day with Jesus One Year Bibles will accompany the invitation cards. Normally priced £15.99 each, you will benefit from a bulk discount. Your co-ordinator should place an order for the Bibles before Friday 2 December 2011.
Step 3: Bibles Delivered
In early December, we will send your co-ordinator copies of the Every Day with Jesus One Year Bible, with bookmarks. The name of the person taking the challenge can be written on the bookmarks, along with the password for logging on to your church’s own mini-website.
