Selwyn Hughes
The phenomenal success of the Every Day with Jesus devotional and Waverley's Christian Training helped this dedicated man to fulfil the call of God on his life.
As a young miner working in the dark pits of South Wales, Selwyn Hughes was called to full-time ministry by God. He left the mines to study theology before spending 18 happy years as a pastor in England and Wales. Then he heard another call from God: to leave the ministry that he loved and start an organisation dedicated to preparing the Church for revival. He worked tirelessly to that end until he went to glory in January 2006.
Today CWR has a flourishing publishing and training programme enabling Christians in 160 countries to apply God's Word to everyday life and relationships. We look to the future with eager anticipation and confidence. Selwyn said, "I believe that we are poised to experience a new wave of blessing that will surpass anything we have ever known before. Come walk with us as we seek to walk with Him."
